Making a purchase

Its simple and easy just choose your product then enter the relevant information to complete the order.

Credit/Debit Cards

We accept all major credit & Debit Cards online through a secure server layer to protect your data.  Our servers are tested to meet PCIDSS (Payment Card Information Data Security Standard) criteria.  Or if you prefer we can take an order over the phone and process the payment by calling 01454 412100.

You can make payment via paypal through the secure site.

Cancellation By Us

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
- We do not deliver to your area; or
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
- IF we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and we will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.  We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

A contract between the customer and Garden Machinery Superstore for the sale of our products will only exist once an order had been accepted, processed and dispatched.

Shipping & Handling

Our prices are inclusive of discount, UK Vat, and delivery to your preferred address within mainland England & Wales.  Delivery costs and charges apply to certain postcodes ie: Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland these can be additionally added during the checkout process.  We do not deliver to Channel Islands & Europe.


Please ensure you arrange a convenient time for delivery. The couriers will attempt to deliver twice and leave a card with a contact number on.  If you are not in on both of these occasions (and you have not made arrangements to leave it with a neighbour) then you will be required to pay a charge per extra delivery attempt.  If the item cannot be delivered and comes back to us then we will have to charge an additional fee for the return.  We do not profit from either of these charges – we simply charge you what our delivery company will charge us.  Goods should be inspected before they are signed for. You must notify us via email within 24 hours if your goods are subsequently found to be damaged.

To purchase from us you must be over 18.  By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying goods (including passing your address and contact telephone number details onto couriers and other subcontractors).  We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent.

All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. Errors and omissions excepted.  Subject to not selling below our cost price.

Most products are kept in stock, and usually dispatched within 1-2 working days after clearance of payment however delivery of tractors is usually 4-5 working days.  Some items will be dispatched directly from our distributors.  If the item is out of stock we will keep you informed of any major delays.

Deliveries are normally between 8-6pm weekdays.

Garden Machinery Superstore will not be responsible for any items which you send back to us that are lost or damaged in transit.

Garden Machinery Superstore shall not be held liable for any delays in delivering goods, nor shall they be liable for delays caused to customers work commitments due to your order not arriving on time.

Garden Machinery Superstore shall not be liable to customers for charges for hire of alternate machinery or labour.  We will not be liable for compensation of any kind due to late delivery of machinery or failure of machinery or damage to property from delivery.

Product Warranties

All Garden machinery products carry the appropriate manufacturers warranties.

The repair of products does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or general damage and any attempt to repair the faulty product will invalidate any warranty that comes with the machine.

All products come with a manufacturers Domestic warranty of between 1 and 5 years depending on the manufacturers terms & conditions.  For commercial warranty conditions please call 01454 412100.

In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault within the warranty period Garden Machinery Superstore will refer you to your local dealership where the product will be examined by qualified technicians and repaired as per the warranty details. Collection/Delivery charges may be incurred.

Faulty goods may be returned after you have notified us of the problem with the goods and your intention to return them.  You must return them within 30 days of the date of their delivery to you to our contact address at your own cost and risk.   We will refund the price you paid for such goods provided that the goods are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you, alternatively we can arrange collection but this will be deducted from the total refund should you decide not to have a replacement.

Garden Machinery Superstore will not be liable for any additional costs incurred whilst goods are away for warranty repairs- this includes rental or hire charges for equipment from a third party.

General Conditions For Return:

You must notify us within 7 days of delivery of any item that you wish to return back to us.

All returns must be sent back at the owner costs.

You have the right to cancel any order.  The cancellation period begins from the day on which the contract for the supply of goods is concluded (ie the day of purchase).  The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods.

Goods must be returned to us complete, as new, unused and in the original box will be refunded fully except the price of the shipping charges if they are not included.

Goods returned to us incomplete ie: missing manual, accessories etc will incur an appropriate charge which will be deducted from the refund.

Goods returned to us which have been opened, seal broken, packaging not intact will incur a fee subject to condition.

The consumer is liable to pay for the cost of the return of the goods to ourselves.

Any items ordered incorrectly/wrongly by the purchaser that need to be returned for a refund will incur a 10% handling fee charge.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and collect only the information about the customer that is submitted at the time of ordering our good and services.  The information that we collect lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Acts of 1984 & 1998) will be used only for the purpose of fulfilling orders.

WEEE Regulations

Under the WEEE regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of seperately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

Recycling reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Garden Machinery Superstore is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical product from us.

Customers must return their like-for-like WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
